Phone Tracker: Phone Locator

Phone Tracker: Phone Locator is an app designed to help users track the real-time GPS location of their family and friends. It enables location sharing within a private network, requiring mutual consent and the exchange of a unique code or number between parties. Once activated, the app allows users to monitor the whereabouts of their connected contacts, whether they are at home, traveling, or on the move. This functionality aims to provide a way for families to stay connected and informed about each other’s locations.

Real-time Location Tracking

The app provides real-time location tracking for connected family members, including children and older individuals. This feature operates in the background, continuously updating the location data to help users stay informed about their network’s current positions.

Place Alerts

Users can set up Place Alerts to receive notifications when a family member, friend, or child arrives at or departs from a specific location. These alerts are delivered as pop-up messages with live updates, offering timely information about movements.

Unlimited Members and Location History

Phone Tracker supports an unlimited number of members within a user’s network. It also retains a complete location history for all connected individuals, which can be reviewed without any additional payment.

Detailed Battery Information

The app displays detailed battery charge levels and status for connected devices. This feature helps users monitor the battery health of their family’s phones, allowing them to notice any abnormalities and potentially prevent a loss of contact due to a depleted battery, especially for children or older family members.

Privacy and Permissions

Location sharing through Phone Tracker is only possible when both parties explicitly allow it, emphasizing user privacy and data security. The app requests a few permissions, primarily the location permission for real-time GPS sharing, and Nearby Devices to connect via Bluetooth. Notifications permission is requested to deliver alerts and updates. The app incorporates a Visible function, allowing users to hide their location when they desire private space.
